I am a filmmaker and a producer who concentrates on developing slice-of-life films and documentaries.  Currently, I am working on a documentary about a Palestinian couple and their restaurant in New York City. I am also producing four films - a documentary about the Palestinian liberation protests, an animated film Group (5 mins) which describes the story of a girl navigating life after a major diagnosis, and two other live action short films. I previously produced six other films, of which include Good Enough (15 mins) a short exploring a pianist and his relationship with his dead mother. I wrote and directed five other short films including Paper Cranes (5 mins) and Amala (10 mins), a story about a mother losing her only child to marriage and regaining her identity. I helped create the first Women In Film Club at the School of Visual Arts and am currently on the board as the official event coordinator.
